Let the Nations Be Glad

John Piper spoke on cultivating missions-minded people in our local bodies. He explained Paul's refusal to build on another's foundation. Paul had a restless approach to ministry--always looking for places where he was not welcome. Then Piper said something very interesting. "If someone is inviting you, it's not a mission field." Wow.

I loved that whole book. when he says in his sermon "doing missions when dying is gain" when your in a villiage and they surround your house with men with michettes and threaten you to leave or they will kill you, I want to be the man who will say, "this is a great place to live, they need Jesus, If i leave who will tell them about Jesus." I want so badily to be that kind of man of God.
